Darrin Chandler
I am the founder of the Phoenix BSD Users Group and one of the founding members of MetaBUG, and am a contributing editor for the OpenBSD Journal. I also participate in the Phoenix Linux Users Group and LOPSA.
I'm looking for work! Either telecommute or something in the Phoenix, AZ area would be great. Ideally I would like to work with a small, focused team working in a Unix environment and using C/C++, Ruby, Python, etc.
I've been a software developer since 1986, and have worked in a small variety of industries. I've been doing OOP for most of that time. I've been using Linux/BSD since 1996. I know SQL backwards and forwards, especially MS SQL Server, but also PostgreSQL and MySQL. I can do web stuff, but I'm the backend guy, as I'm not a great designer.
If you think you might want to hire me, please email me at dwchandler@stilyagin.com with details of the position and I will gladly provide you with a real resume if I think it might be a good fit.
Here are some old pages that I hardly touch lately…
