Religion by Darrin Chandler [28 May 2003]
Lately we've been discussing religion at home. We live in a predominantly Mormon area, so that particular religion has come up a lot. There's a lot of controversy and confusion about what Mormons believe. A very quick summary can be found in Joseph Smith's statement: The Articles of Faith.
Also, the question of the Trinity has come up: who believes the three are aspects of one being, etc. I've found a handy religion comparison chart! Woo hoo! Too bad it lumps all "Christian" religions together and concentrates on the differences between "Christian" religions and "Cults." Their bias greatly undermines the usefulness in researching the differences between Judeo-Christian religions...
Then I found this at ReligiousTolerance.org. There's no handy comparison chart, but there is a wealth of information that I have barely begun to read. There's even a bit about Asatru elsewhere on the site!
