AZ Robotics Winners by Darrin Chandler [30 March 2005 8:12 MST]

Four kids from Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix win a marine robotics competition! And they won over MIT? Cool. Of course, checking out MIT's robotics stuff is always a little disappointing. Lots of money, lots of bright kids, but they don't seem to have any focus. Kudos to Cristian Arcega, Lorenzo Santillan, Luis Aranda, Oscar Vazquez, and to Allan Cameron and Fredi Lajvardi. Looks like they've picked up the Chairman's Award in the AZ Regional FIRST competition as well. Nice going!
